Obama Scrapping European Missile Defense Shield

And that is just a smidgen of it all!  Each day we wake up to more and more “changes” in how our country is being run.  “Changes” that are contrary to the will of the majority of people but still put into effect.  I can say that with confidence because polls such as this show how conservative most Americans are:

I don’t think America has gone liberal overnight.  I know I haven’t.  I would stand really firm on the belief that America is a conservative country in spite of Obama’s liberal election.  The margin between Him and McCain wasn’t that much.  If every eligible person in America had voted in this election I believe the outcome would have been different and we would not have a Liberal in the Presidency nor a liberal Congress.  We Conservatives really need to pull an ACORN in that we should help to “get the vote out”. Other than that, leave ACORN to it’s soon-coming demise.

Sometimes we just have to take a note of our opposition so that we can learn from them.  Who was it that wrote that book, The Art of War?  We have the book here somewhere.  I really need to read it.  Not only that but the Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky.  Someone said a long time ago to “know thy enemy”.  Since I don’t consider Liberals my “enemy”, I would prefer to use the word “Opponents”.  At one time I was a Democrat and a “bleeding heart liberal” but no more.  I know that it hurts people to have things just handed to them instead of working for what they need and I don’t want to hurt anyone.

Same with the issue of Racism.  I honestly think it is being used for nefarious reasons by those who continue to blare it out.  While it is true that there is racism in the hearts of people of all colors I haven’t heard so much about it in many, many years.  What an Alinsky-type maneuver to distract folks from the real issue before us!  It’s brilliant for real.  We just need to turn it on it’s head by discussing the “Issue” instead of the color of a persons skin.  Often when folks are accused of being “racist” because they don’t agree with Obama, I wonder which they are being racist against….him being part white or him being part black or him being part Arabic?  What a conundrum for those who holler “racist”.  The next time I am so accused, I will pose that question.

ACORN is more than just an embarrassment….it’s a disaster that needs to be dismantled altogether!  If the expose had been limited to one or even two videos a case may have been made for “irregular” but five and counting!  I don’t think so.  There seems to be a prevalent undercurrent in the offices of ACORN that criminality is just another tool for fleecing the taxpayers out of their money.  How anyone can watch the videos and not cringe at the cavalier attitude towards bringing under-age girls into the US for purposes of prostitution is beyond me! Have we become so hardened against immorality that we can just wag our heads for the moment and then move on?  I hope to God we have not!

Glenn Beck is THE News man as far as I am concerned.  Sure he can act silly and even cries when something affects him emotionally but He is on the money with his news reports.  He’s doing something that other news media won’t….he’s going after corruption in the government while others in the MSM are going “duh”!  Even the 9/12 march that Glenn Beck began way back in March was brushed off by, not only the Media, but the President Himself, who “didn’t know anything about it”. And that doesn’t even include the brewing scandal about ACORN.  Even Charlie Gibson of ABC states that the ACORN scandal is “a mystery” to him.  Say What!

So, I’m just thinking:  What if the ACORN scandal and the 9/12 marchers on DC were fronts for terrorists?  What if ACORN was being used to bring in terrorists from other countries, set them up in housing using Federal funds and giving them a base to work from in order to attack our Country from the inside.  We already know that the Terrorists have no problem taking years to plot and plan their attacks and some have been hidden in plain sight here for a long time.   From watching the ACORN tapes on Glenn Becks show we already know that the staff at ACORN offices are more than willing to bend a whole lot of laws in order to use up Federal Taxpayer monies to put “pimps’, “prostitutes” and “little girls from El Salvador” in houses to use for prostitution.  Obviously, their morals, or lack thereof, would not preclude them from setting up a terrorist who “knew how to hide” what he was doing here.

And then there is President Obama, who flying over DC on His way to another speech somewhere, who couldn’t help but notice the thousands upon thousands of people lining the streets on and around the Mall,  with this response from the White House: “On Friday, White House officials said they had no knowledge of the planned demonstration. Robert Gibbs said he didn’t know who the group was.”!!!  Can I hear either a “yeah, right!” or a “you’re kidding me!” on that!  How can the White House be clueless about thousands of people marching right outside it’s door?  Answer: They weren’t.  They figured if they just played dumb about it all that it would take away from the validity of the march.  THEY were/are “wrong” rather than the protesters as David Axelrod dismissed as well.

So what if the protesters, who the White House said they didn’t know who they were, were terrorists?  I mean if you are clueless about thousands of people marching down a main street in Washington, DC how would you know they weren’t?  Does anyone really see just how stupid their responses were to all of this?  Of course they knew about it, knew who was behind it and were denigrating it because the folks used their own methods against them and they got caught in the headlights of mass disgruntlement with their policies and didn’t like it.  Oh, well.  Too bad.  All they needed to do was man up about it and make their case.  They couldn’t so they pulled the school kid playground trick of just ignoring what they can’t control.  What pukes!

So, what is Glenn Beck doing?  He is exposing this for all he’s worth.  I don’t know about ya’ll but I would never have known about the 9/12 march if I hadn’t been watching Glenn Beck.  The MSM sure wasn’t hitting the streets for the story in any big way.  Nor would I have known about the sleazy machinations of ACORNs office managers if I hadn’t watched Glenn Beck.  Again, like Charlie Gibson, the main stream media(what a joke)when having to finally acknowledge it, calls it a “mystery”.  Well, here’s the deal.  We don’t need this kind of newscasting that isn’t really.  If these folks are so tied to the President and His agenda that they pretend dumbness to keep from broadcasting the truth then they deserve to lose all kinds of viewers and money.  And, so they will.

I think that we will be hearing a whole lot more about ACORN in the days and weeks to come but I also believe there is more to what Glenn Beck is about here and he is laying the groundwork for something else.  Personally, I think He is going after President Obama.  If you cut off the legs of anything, it can’t stand anymore and it’s defenseless.  Then, it can be exposed for exactly what it is.  I think that is where Glenn Beck is going with his expose of Van Jones and ACORN and now, his “refounders” request and, not only that, I think he will have takers and whistle blowers help him out.  When the captain of the ship is on his way overboard, folks will jump ship before him to get to the lifeboats first.  It’s human nature.

For those who don’t know, the “Refounders” request is a system that Glenn Beck and his producers have set up in order for folks in DC to whistle blow on government corruption but within the safe-keeping of anonymity if necessary.  He’s looking for at leas 56 such persons in line with the original writers/inspirers of our Government when we were set free from the British.  He doesn’t want the Constitution rewritten or disregarded as some in the Obama Administration do as they believe it is “outdated”, he wants those who work in the halls of Government to get back to placing all of our laws and regulations back under it.  It’s a tremendous and radical idea and absolutely worthy of implementation.  It’s time that Americans take their country back to the way it was, inspiring people with visions of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness with justice for all….period!

As in the football rallies in high school, it was only the beginning.  The football players then had to go out and work to win. All the cheering in the world wouldn’t do a bit of good if the quarterbacks, half-backs, guards etc didn’t kick, punt, and block their way to victory.  The sweat would pour, the tension would increase and it was only after score was called that we knew if we had won or not.  And, so it is with the 9-12 protestors.  It’s time to work, sweat and energize ourselves to keep the momentum going.  We can’t just glory in a good turn-out and expect that to be the galvinizing factor of true change alone.   It’s going to take time and effort to turn the government around to the will of the people.

From what I have determined by following the news….little main-stream aside from FOX….it is clear to me that America is still a very conservative, hard-working Country.  We don’t have to be told to get up in the morning to go to work nor do we need told to help our neighbor in need.  Those characteristics are built into the people of America and have been since it’s inception.  We don’t need “Leaders” to tell us how to live; we just need people in charge of managing what we already have so that lives can run smoother on the highways of this great Nation.   We don’t need folks determining what, where, when and how we raise our children or care for our elderly.  We only need to be left alone to take care of FAMILY ourselves.  If help is needed, then it should be for advancement and not to keep folks in an entitlement mode.  A hand up is always better than a hand-out.

I know this is true because I have been in some mighty low places in my life; some through no fault of my own but others because of choices and decisions I made and had to take responsibility for.  At no time did I ever want anyone to “share the wealth” with me.  What a ridiculous notion!  Why would anyone want to work hard, sacrifice some of their wants and needs only, upon success, to be told to give me money because I didn’t make it to their level?  Not only is that insulting them(and is grossly unfair)but is an insult to me as well.  Maybe; just maybe, I am poorer then they are because I don’t want the responsibility of being where they are.  When a “spread-the-wealth” mentality takes hold all it does is create angst and anger.  Jesus said “the poor will always be with you” and He was right.  It is what it is.  If I had wanted to forgo some experiences so I could focus on creating wealth for myself, I would have done it.  I didn’t but I sure don’t expect anyone else to hand me theirs either.

I am extremely pleased that this 9-12 rally took place and more pleased that it was such a success!  It doesn’t matter that it is being down-played by the more liberal of the news makers because that still doesn’t change the facts on the ground.  In fact, the more it is down-played, the more moronic looking are those who reveal how biased they truly are in their own field of vision.  Now, I’m hoping that the momentum continues in force.  We must never forget who we are and where we came from.  We are the People of this United States of America and together we must stand.

Like others at the time, I waited in line for my vehicle to be checked before going onto the Post at Ft. Knox and I flew flags from my car windows.  And, now, eight years later, I wonder at our “forgetting”.  Now it isn’t “terrorism”  anymore, it’s “man-made disasters” per Obama.  What kind of tripe is that!   In America, we have laws on our books that call for arrest and jail for “terroristic threatening”.  To threaten the life/limb of an individual is punishable by law.  No where is it written that it is just a “man-made disaster” attack that can be reduced to anything.  If that wasn’t so serious, it would be laughable.  And, anyway you want to look at it, what the “TERRORISTS” did on 9-11-01 was just plain MURDER!  You can’t dance around that fact with fancy rhetoric!  Obama needs to “get it”!

I hope that the citizens of America will “never forget” where we came from and how we got here.  We are a Nation built on the standards of individual freedom and a rule of law that keeps us safe, for the most part, and demands retribution when those laws are broken.  To allow them, or any part of them, to be watered down in a politically correct manner is to invite more of the same.  We don’t need the “panty-waisted” approach to protecting United States of America that Obama has been foisting on us with his “apologies” the world over.  We need someone in the White House who has an iron spine and a determination that America is not only a super-power, but the most freedom-loving Country there is.

As the memorials are given and prayers are sent up for the families of those who lost their lives today, we also must not forget that we still have enemies of the same ilk out there just waiting for the opportunity to do it again.  To keep our borders wide open; to not expect other countries to respect our Sovereignty and to lay down in wanting to “unclench the fist” in an attempt to swoon others into not attacking us again, just gives our enemies the opening they need.  A lily-livered coward just asks for it…there’s no other way to put it.  If we don’t stand strong and firm against those who would do us harm, we can blame no one but ourselves.

I hope, before this day is over, that people will remember.  Remember not only those who’s lives were lost but the whole of what the United States of America stands for…..freedom and justice for all who claim Her as “Home”.  For those who just come in to take and not give; to destroy and not build; to deride and not respect, to them we show a united stand behind the line in the sand that we will not forget nor will we waver.  We are proud of our Country all of the time…period.
